Consulate's 1st Friday speaker series resume Sept. 6

 

The Consulate General of Ireland in Boston announced the return of its First Friday speaker series. This month will host Fred Bernabe, the Senior Director of Community Education and Outreach at Samaritans, an NGO supporting the Greater Boston community with life-saving mental health resources. September’s event will take place at the Consulate General of Ireland (535 Boylston St. Floor 5, Boston, MA) on FridaySeptember 6th, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM

About Fred Bernabe- In March 2024, Fred Bernabe joined Samaritans staff as the new Senior Director of Community Education and Outreach. Fred is an experienced mental health therapist, facilitator, trainer, licensed math teacher, entrepreneur, and equity advocate from Dorchester, MA. A first-generation Haitian American, he is fluent in Haitian Creole and American Sign Language. As a current leadership psychology doctoral student at William James College, Fred is focused on bringing his organizational development skills and insight to the communities he serves and the people he supports.
