Scituate Easter Rising Monument Committee has announced that the informal dedication of the six foot by four foot granite monument with the words of the Proclamation engraved upon it will be taking place on Sunday September 20, 2020 at 1:00 in the afternoon.  

The dedication will take place next to the bandstand on Cole Parkway in Scituate Harbor.  We are honored to have the Consul General  of Ireland Laoise Moore who will dedicate the only such monument of its kind in the United States.  All are welcome so long as social distancing and mask protocols are observed.
