The offices of Ireland's consulate in Boston were open for business today, after a nine day closure caused by the April 15 terror bombing.

The incident took place just a block away from the consulate offices at 535 Boylston Street in Copley Square, and a large swath of the street and adjacent residential and office buildings had been sealed off as investigators searched the crime scene.
Ireland Consul General Michael Lonergan and his staff were evacuated from their Copley Square offices about one hour after the explosions Monday afternoon, and services had been delivered from the IDA office.
Federal investigators released the exclusion zone on Boylston Street on Monday, and consul staff returned to the office on Tuesday afternoon. A person answering the phone this morning said all services have been restored and the consulate is once again fully operational.
