Boston-born political commentator Larry Donnelly will appear in a Virtual “Meet the Author” event on January 29, 2022 at 9 AM (Boston time), to discuss his book, The Bostonian: Life in an Irish American Political Family. The event is being hosted virtually on zoom, but Larry will be broadcasting from the cozy atmosphere of the Horse and Hound Pub in Delgany, County Wicklow. 
Larry will be interviewed by Brian O’Donovan, RTÉ’s former Washington correspondent, who also has written his own book – Four Years in the Cauldron – on the experience of living and working as a journalist in the US with his family during an extraordinary period.  Having returned to Ireland, he is taking up a new role as RTÉ’s Work and Technology correspondent.   As well as discussing The Bostonian and the themes emanating from it, Larry and Brian will share some thoughts about 2022 in Ireland and the US.
