Rian Immigration Ctr announces search for new exec director

Breaking 6/28/24-  Rian Immigrant Center announced today that the agency has had a  "change in leadership."

In an email to stakeholders and supporters, Rian board chair Kim Borman said, "Jacob Bombard, who served as Executive Director for a year and a half, is no longer with the organization. We appreciate his contributions to the Center during his tenure, which came at an important time for both Rian and the immigrant families we serve.

"The Rian Immigrant Center is unique in many ways, one of which is that it has had only three leaders in its 35 year history: Sister Lena Deevy and Ronnie Millar having served at the helm for decades before Jacob. The critical work that Rian is doing, during a time of crisis for immigrant families, makes it a unique leadership role.

"The Board has elevated two of our senior directors who serve important roles - Neeta Beepath, Senior Director of Advancement and Victoria DiCianni, Director of Client Experience, Evaluation and Support Services - to serve as Co-Acting Directors and plan to put an Interim Director in place, with their support, while we conduct a search for a new Executive Director. We are fortunate that we have a strong team of dedicated professionals who are committed to this work. We do not expect any change to their efforts or the services they perform daily for immigrant families in need."
