Irish Culture Centre of Greater Boston to Host Several Irish Language Events

The Irish Cultural Centre (“ICC”) of Greater Boston announced several Irish Language events that will take place in the coming weeks, including an Irish language pop-up and Irish Language classes!

Starting Wednesday, January 17th, the ICC will begin its weekly series of Irish language classes. Meet new people, learn some new vocabulary, and improve your ‘Gaeilge’! This class is suitable for those who have no or very little Irish language knowledge. This class will run for 10 weeks and will have open enrollment for the first 3 weeks. The cost of this class is $60 for members and $120 for non-members. For more information and to enroll please visit the Irish Cultural Centre website.

On Saturday, January 20th, from 5-8pm the ICC will host a “Pop-up Gaeltacht” in the ICC Pub. This event will provide individuals the opportunity to come together to practice their Irish language skills and enjoy a pint and great music. Irish language beginners are welcome and encouraged to attend. This event is part of a series of Irish language pop-ups, sponsored by Sal Baressi of Mass Bay Movers, that will take place at the ICC over the coming months.
