The Irish Cultural Centre tof New England will host the second concert of its Winter Warmer Celtic Concert Series on Saturday, January 30. ICCNE has created a dynamic Celtic Winter performance which is a collaboration of featured Irish artists in the Boston Irish community:
Martin Butler - Martin hails from County Tipperary Ireland and has been a regular on the music scene in Boston for several years. He has played with several bands in the area over the years in addition he has played with Finbar Furey, toured with Irish Tenor Ronan Tynan. Martin's playing ,singing and performing historical and popular poems of his native land to great reviews .
Amy Basse - Amy has been a longtime mainstay on the Irish music scene in the Boston area and beyond. Amy is a dynamic performer and has performed with Aoife Clancy ,Robbie O'Connell, Lori McKenna, Tom Rush and many more. Amy's passionate performance on the fiddle should not be missed as she mixes airs and waltzes along side fiery and energetic tunes from both sides of the Atlantic.
Liam Hart - To hear Liam Hart sing and speak in the Gaelic language is an experience you won't want to miss. Liam grew up in New Jersey to Irish parents, his love of the music,culture and language of Ireland grew with every visit. A brilliant singer in both Gaelic and English, he plays guitar and flute.
David Bowman - David grew up on Martha's Vineyard hearing the music of Ireland mixed with sea shanties and songs of Irish immigration. He began his musical journey at a young age learning songs and the tin whistle an instrument at which he excels. He is a terrific performer whether playing a tune singing or backing a song his skill shines.
